Matt Tempesta

I’m Matt Tempesta, an Orvis-Endorsed Fly Fishing Guide, father, veteran, and founder of Tempco Fly Fishing. My mission is simple — to help anglers of all levels find success, confidence, and connection on the water.

My background as a U.S. Army Infantrymen, and Instructor taught me how to teach with clarity, patience, and purpose. Today, I channel those skills into guiding — helping beginners learn the fundamentals of casting, reading water, and fly selection, while challenging experienced anglers to refine their presentation and tactics.

I offer both Walk & Wade and Float Trips across Massachusetts and New England, focused on more than just catching fish. Each trip is designed to teach, inspire, and deliver an authentic experience in nature.

Fly fishing has given me peace, purpose, and a way to give back. Whether you’re stepping into waders for the first time or looking to master technical water, I’d be honored to guide you there.
